Connect your SIS or LMS to Mastery.org

Mastery.org reads your rosters through Edlink, a secure connection to the systems your school already runs.

The connection

One secure connection between your school’s systems and Mastery.org

Mastery.org connects to Canvas, Google Classroom, and Blackbaud through Edlink. Your school authorizes it once instead of standing up a separate integration for every tool that needs a roster.

Free for your school

Edlink charges the edtech companies for access, not schools. The connection costs your district nothing.

Built for student data

Edlink is SOC 2 Type II audited and built to meet FERPA and GDPR requirements.

Invisible to students and teachers

The only person who signs in to Edlink is the admin who authorizes the connection. Nobody else at your school sees it.

Already in wide use

About 7,000 districts and universities run on Edlink today, syncing tens of millions of records every day.

Before we connect

One thing to sort out first

We cannot finish the connection without someone who can authorize your SIS or LMS. Sort this out before our call, or bring that person with you.

Already on Edlink?

You are set. Sign in and confirm you can see your school or district team. We will connect Mastery.org together on the call.

New to Edlink?

Ask your IT admin to create a free school account. It takes about five minutes, and the admin is the only person who needs one.

For your IT admin

What to have ready

What your admin needs depends on which system your school runs.

Canvas

A Canvas administrator login, plus permission to create an API developer key.

Google Classroom

A Google Workspace admin who can approve Edlink for your domain.

Blackbaud

A Blackbaud admin login.

Edlink publishes its own guide for school IT teams if yours wants the official version: FAQ for school IT admins.

After the connection

You review the roster before anything is saved

Once the connection is live, Mastery.org pulls in your students, courses, and enrollments and shows you what it found. Nothing lands in your school record until you say so.

Review before you commit

Every student and course match is laid out for review. You correct anything that looks wrong before it is saved.

Refresh when your roster changes

When students move or sections change in the source system, pull the roster again and review what changed.
